The Pentagon used a secret aircraft painted to look like a civilian plane in its first boat attack, according to officials briefed on the matter.

The laws of armed conflict forbid combatants from feigning civilian status.

That is a war crime called "perfidy."

One year ago today, I snapped this photo as I quickly left my Altadena community during the Eaton Fire.

I remember the wind more than anything, how relentless it was, how fast the fire moved, and how suddenly everything changed. In a matter of moments, lives were upended and homes were lost.

I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.

The White House has been caught.

The administration inserted a photo of Bill Clinton, Michael Jackson, and Diana Ross into the Epstein files and falsely implied it showed them with victims.

In reality, it’s a publicly available fundraiser photo featuring Jackson and Ross’s own children.
