First night of a week long vacation with my family and my brother already said some shit about trans people that makes me want to just go home. It’s par for the course. Just heartbroken all over again. At least I was calm and held my ground without losing my temper.

Depression makes the bad things feel worse. It colors your reality with a patina of grey. I’m going to fight like hell to survive the next four years. I’ve worked really hard to become this version of myself and I’ll be damned if anyone or anything will send me back to being a suicidal mess.
