Why yes, I support Constitutional rights. How do you feel about them?
RON JOHNSON: Did you ever encourage people to go out there and exercise their First Amendment rights?

KEITH ELLISON: I freely admit being in favor of the First Amendment

Hegseth's unconstitutional retaliation against Sen. Kelly was so brazen that an exasperated federal judge used more than a dozen exclamation points!

Highlights from the ruling: "Horsefeathers!" and "Please!"

"That is a troubling development in a free country!" buff.ly/YY60KWM

Trump's big, ugly budget megabill gives ICE more agents than the FBI, more jails than the federal Bureau of Prisons, and a larger budget than most countries' militaries.

It does this by stripping food away from children, the disabled, and the working poor.

Not one more penny.

I will don my hood, grab my scythe, and cull as many people as necessary to produce enough corpses for me and Stephen Miller to finally satiate the endless void inside of us.

Look, his neighbor was right to punch him in the face because he sucks generally. But he's entirely right in this entire line of questioning.
Rand Paul to ICE officials on Pretti's killing: "Because people within the government made conclusions immediately that he was a terrorist and an assassin, people aren't believing that it's gonna be an honest investigation ... there has to ultimately be repercussions ... it's inexcusable."

Rand Paul to ICE officials on moments before Pretti's killing: "No one in America believes that shoving that woman's face in the snow was deescalation."

Note that ICE officials then confirm it was improper for her to be thrown down.

I probably know less about the Kennedy family than the average person, and I personally think JFK is a bit overrated. But I think we can all agree prime time JFK would probably have been in the files.

So Doritos has these new Naked Nacho Cheese and my wife bought a bag and I didn't know what it was and she told me:
"Why are they doing that."
"Removing the dye."
"So are they switching all the Nacho Cheese or are they having it as a second product?"

Great insult.
That's not the kind of "miner" Trump was expecting.

Note that he avoids being specific about how they said to defy *illegal* orders. By removing the word they are once again purposely misinterpreting what's actually being said to misinform their supporters. But at least he actually heard about this news story.
Mike Johnson: "A line is crossed and it's very serious when you have leaders here in the Senate and House effectively telling members of the military to defy orders. It's a very dangerous gambit they were playing. Should they be sent to jail? Probably not."

Thank God the Senate confirmed her, she clearly respects other branches of government and their authority.
holy shit -- Bondi's new tactic is refusing to answer Democratic questions, then using time during the next Republican questioner to smear the previous Democratic member and accuse them of being complicit in violence crimes

Local idiot thinks boarding a train owned by a private company is comparable right to voting.
Markwayne Mullin defends "show me your papers": "If you're here legally, there's nothing to hide. Most people already are walking around with a government-issued ID, meaning your Real ID or your driver's license. If you go board a train here, you gotta show your ID."

I call it the Declutter act, we take Donald Trump and throw him from a moving plane into the middle of *A* ocean, it'll be a wet ocean, maybe a life jacket maybe not. How can you be opposed to decluttering things?
Trump: "Think of it. So you have a thing called 'Save America Act. Save America Act.' And Schumer is gonna say, 'I oppose it.' How do you oppose save America? This is simply on voting. Voter ID. We want a statement that you are a citizen of America. And no mail in ballots."

There is a zero percent chance he arrived at boot camp let alone got deployed to Vietnam. Actual factual zero. We don't have to let this guy keep lying about everything. Saying he went to Vietnam, even for 2 days, is stolen valor.
Trump: "Connecticut is an extremely corrupt voting place. That's why a guy like Blumenthal can keep getting elected. He admitted he cheated on the war. I went to Vietnam for a couple of days and I spent two more days than he did there. He was never there."
