I've basically been in travel mode for the last 2 weeks, but really it's been closer to a month. I don't know who else to tell this to, but holy cow, I'm tired, Internet. All I want to do is sleep, read and eat for the next week.
But that's not in the cards. And that's mostly okay.

My second favorite thing about Lady Gaga is that she's not afraid to make really ugly faces while she singing. And somehow they still end up looking amazing. I'm not the biggest Lady Gaga fan, I have to say. But I'm always impressed with her performances.

My favorite thing about watching Lady Gaga is that you can tell she's actually singing, and it's not perfect, but it's pretty freaking close. Not only that, but you can tell when they take off big parts of her costume, and she can breathe a little easier. The whole thing is amazing. #coachella2025

Back home finally and slept the heaviest sleep last night. Woke up not knowing where I was, who I was, what day it was, who's dog was in the bed. Very confused for the first 10 sec of the day.
I'm still pretty exhausted, but at least I know who's underwear I'm wearing now.

It's been a minute since I've posted about running, but I have a 6k coming up at the end of the month. I just did 3.37 miles (about 5.4k). I'm almost there! And I'm a sweaty dead mess, but whatever! 🎉🎉

I'm trying to cultivate a daily meditation habit in an effort to keep from spiraling into a depression over the current hellscape we're living in, and I've been doing okay at it. But the thing that takes me out of it every time is the phrase "gently close your eyes". How else am I going to do that??

Fighting something off. Could it be norovirus? No idea. But I've been sleeping since 2pm, have had zero appetite, have had stomach cramps, and some agita while I was sleeping. I am weak, achy. I made myself eat a few saltine minis just now with some water. Will I get to keep it? Time will tell. 🤷♀️

Seriously. I don't have any truly useful or practical skills, but I am absolutely willing to learn to juggle or spin plates or whatever will keep the aliens entertained.

This is something I came to terms with in the last few years. I avoided fruit for years. YEARS. Because I don't like to cut it and anyone who knows me knows that I haaaate the feeling of my hands being sticky. I bought pre-cut pineapple one day, and I swear my life has never been the same.
Hey you, buy the precut fruit and veggies, no, I know it’s not cheaper, I can read, but you’re not going to go home and cut them and put them away like you said. You’re actually going to NOT eat them if they’re not pre-cut so you’re actually wasting money. You are welcome, I love you too.
