ALTMAN: And so you can use Sora to generate interesting videos of you and your friends, all with AI.
FALLON: (giggling) So, heh, so that's a video of me in space, wow!
ALTMAN: Exactly.
FALLON: Could you generate a video of me where I'm not just a useful clown for fascism? Where my work has meaning?

LONG RAMBLING EMOTIONAL THREAD:

It's World AIDS Day. Since the Administration has decided to keep it quiet, I'd like to share my introduction to AIDS.

I grew up in Seattle. My mom remarried a man who had a brother who was a King County Sheriff's Deputy. His name was Terry and he was gay. 1/x

1/ Dec 1, 1991: Ukraine held a nationwide referendum.
The question was simple: Do you support the Act of Declaration of Independence of Ukraine?
The answer: 90.32% YES.
Every region, every oblast, including Crimea and Donbas, said Ukraine is sovereign.

One of my colleagues applied for their real ID over 6 months ago, still hasn't got it. He also tried to get a passport but hasn't been able to book an appointment that didn't conflict with his work hours. This is another tax on poverty.

Haven’t watched Red Dawn in years but this thread reminds me that why I’m drawn to it is more than just nostalgia
Milius is to me an actually pretty interesting example of genuine conservative art. Even late in his career he's still writing films like Geronimo. I also think Red Dawn holds up very well as a much more complex film than its initial perception by critics.

Which dems are voting against this?? Cory Mills is a menace.
Another odd vote: Nancy Mace (R-SC) brought a resolution to censure Cory Mills (R-FL) and remove him from two committees due to his violence against a pair of women. Mills asked for the resolution to be referred (tabled) and over half the Dems agreed. It has been tabled 309-104-12
