This is also common in Rutaceae. I wonder how many of these are just simple leaves with weird petioles.
Leaf vocabulary 5: UNIFOLIOLATE (not unifoliate) describes a compound leaf with just one leaflet. Lupinus diffusus appears to have simple leaves, but there is an articulation (joint) at the base of the blade, meaning that the “leaf” is a leaflet & the “petiole” is a rachis. #Fabaceae #botany 🌾🧪🌱

Sorry guys, I needed to purge the old Botany Feed to remove some nsfw posts that were getting too frequent. I tried to correct the old one, but in the meantime, after some modifications, I deleted it by accident.

However, this is the patched version that should work well.

Many like botany and mentioned it outside of a scientific context. And other users used some tags to promote inappropriate content. I've narrowed the criteria a bit to make a better selection now. Let me know if you users start to find too many weird posts in the feed again.
@rafadscruz.bsky.social you might wanna check the first post on the botany and plant sciences feed ... seems like it's just a bit off-topic

I edited again the Botany feed, with some new tags, and ranking the content by a ranking that takes into account freshness/likes (it was random before), since a lot of non-related and non-academic content was appearing. It is adjustable, so let me know if you are not happy.
