Time for Max's daily afternoon sunbath.
Max the Belgian malinois lies on a gray doormat inside of the backdoor, which is open to allow a warm beam of sunlight through the closed glass storm door. His front paws rest on the aluminum door sill as he gazes out upon the gray slate tiled back porch.

Had a holiday in #Scarborough, Yorkshire, a decade ago and managed to do some on the spot watercolours and drawings there and in nearby Whitby. Such an inspiring place! I've been recently making winter use of the 100s of photos I took by drawing from them. Here's one in sepia ink of Scarborough Bay.
Scarborough Bay. We visited St Mary's church on that hill shown in the drawing and saw Anne Brontë's grave there.

A local bakery sells frozen uncooked falafel, so I got a pack to try. I pan fried these in just a half tablespoon of oil, and they turned out so great (I often find the local deep fried falafel too greasy).

Also got the pita bread from them.
