Pls consider ordering a book from your local indie bookshop *NOW* before holiday season to give store time to order title if they don't have it? This helps:

(1) support indie bkshops, (2) support human creators, (3) gets you ahead re: busy shopping time.

Psst: maybe one of my books? 🙏🏽💛 #KidLit

He said that, 'Ooh eee, ooh ah-ah, ting tang Walla-walla, bing-bang.'
"i asked chatgpt" yeah well i went to the doctor, i went to the mountains, i looked to the children, i drank from the fountains there's more than one answer to these questions pointing me in a crooked line and the less I seek my source for some definitive closer I am to fine

An adventure for your Amazon boycott: be on the look out for this bookstore. Do not chase. It's friendly, but is easily frightened. Has lots of books, so can't have gotten very far.

As a bookstore owner I approve this message.
The "do audiobooks count as reading" debate seems to hinge on the idea that reading is an inherently virtuous act.

It is not. There are some very bad books and reading them can make you dumb and mean.

This library science professor approves of Linda's message.
If you’re concerned that people aren’t reading, the best thing you can do is be expansively open-hearted about their habits when they *do* choose to read. When it comes to format, timing, genre, and so forth, you will get so much farther by welcoming enthusiasm instead of trying to mold it.
