Hello 👋 Really nice to be here. I’m a freelance illustrator & designer from N. Ireland, drawing my way back to full health after serious illness. Art has been both my physio & life raft during recovery. I mostly draw nature, florals, patterns, people & places.

I like the government pivot to reminding voters that Farage is an avowed enemy of NATO & Europe & an ardent admirer of Vladimir Putin, who routinely orders the murders of critics & opponents. It is politically effective & morally essential.

A heart & some flowers for Valentine’s Day 💝💐

Imagined book cover for @makeartthatsells Lettering Bootcamp. I imagined an epic historical novel of eternal love, yearning over oceans, stormy seas, all overdramatic 😍😆

I dream of doing real book covers so this was a dream project ☁️🥰☁️

Emails: Buy your loved one a new MacBook to show your love this Valentine’s Day! 💝

Me: let’s buy each other a fancy pastry from the posh bakery for Valentine’s 🥰

Final piece I made for Floralfolio2026. Really enjoyed this challenge and the bright colour palettes in dark January 🌥️
Prompt 3: ‘Hello, also I love you’ - Echinacea, liverleaf & dune sunflower.
Started off with gouache & pencil on paper, got a bit muddy so redrew in @procreate.com

Owned by Jeff Bezos.
Who also recently laid off >30k employees.
Who rented Venice for his wedding.
And builds rockets for his then fiancee to have an 'out of this world' hen night.
And paid equivalent of 4.5% tax in 2024.

Maybe it's time to boycott Amazon & all his other companies?

Challenge 2 of Floralfolio2026 from January.
2nd prompt:
‘You make my day brighter’
- waterlilies, marsh marigolds, forget-me-nots 🌸

I stuck to gouache and coloured pencil on paper, no digital reworking for this one.

I took part in FloralFolio2026, a lovely art challenge to start the year off by @susandemingflower.bsky.social @korrieschenkel.bsky.social
1st prompt: ‘You’ve got this’ - Poppies, Bluebells & Queen Anne’s Lace 🌸
Gouache & coloured pencil, then reworked digitally. Think I prefer the paper version.

The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice. Except it doesn’t bend on its own—it bends because we pull it in the direction of justice. What keeps me hopeful during times like these is being surrounded by people who are doing just that.

I’m a huge ‘Severance’ & Helly R. fan, so I created this paper doll of Helly, inc. the ‘Defiant Jazz’ outfit (my fav.)
I think this would fit in a creepy Lumon family magazine 😱😆

So happy to see the amazing @brittlower.bsky.social won an Emmy this week! 🙌

Would you recommend starting Substack or an email (non Substack) newsletter?

Could use advice for Pros/Cons for both.

This powerful message: “I did the research and found out I was wrong.”

I’m not going to say much more except please take the time to watch. Then send it around to family and friends, no matter their political persuasion.
