My first subscription book arrived today. Beautiful book and well packaged. Also the feel good factor of supporting an independent shop instead of Amazon 😎 @bertsbooks.bsky.social
I would like, if you've got the time and the inclination, 5 new subscribers to one of our bundles.

Then, it'll be a nice round number.

You get 20% off your first month using code WELCOME20

I'll share a few of my favourite subscriptions...!

Great news! I don't think there has been any work which has superceded what iGov achieved. It's a fabulous resource.

Great to see the IGov website has been reinstated. It’s a fabulous resource for energy regulation, networks, energy transition etc. Particularly insightful on how everything fits together and needs to be considered holistically rather than silo mentality

Any Powervault P3 battery owners out there?

I've had a unut for a few years and it has caused me no end of trouble and is currently broken again.

Powervault say they are very reliable and I want to check if that is the universal user experience?

Only 2 months since I posted this and it’s looking like I’ll be taking unpaid leave in the new year to see out my mother’s final months. Hopefully I can claim that £81.90 a week to provide 24/7 end of life care 😔 But providing dignity in dying shouldn’t mean putting families in financial ruin 🥹
I’ve worked from home for 4 years - my official office is 500 miles away and I have full time responsibility for a 91 year old. So yeah if you make me go to the office I’m going to end up unemployed and on carers allowance of £81.90 a week 🤷🏻‍♀️

If high energy bills are the new normal, then might retrofitting our homes also become common practice?

Not without some joined up thinking it won't.

So many times reply guys on X told me that heat pumps “don’t work” in old buildings.

I invited them to my 144 year old house in Oxford.

Nobody ever took me up on the offer so I share this virtual visit instead.
