I’ve been with them since January and I wouldn’t have written half as much without them. The daily programme isn’t advertised at the moment - it’s by referral only until later in the year. It costs £30 per month and you get 1.5 hours per day writing group and 1 seminar per month

Hi Lucy - I do daily writing sessions online with a company called PhDPeople. Most of us are working remotely and find the daily interaction helps with motivation and feeling connected. Let me know if you’d like more details

Great news! I don't think there has been any work which has superceded what iGov achieved. It's a fabulous resource.

Thank you Hema. This is where I’m at - writing my thesis while caring for my mum with blood cancer #MDS - thankfully my supervisors are very supportive and allow for the interruptions to study and the times where it’s impossible to think clearly.

Also after reading your bio, my mum has MDS, and the amount of doomscrolling I’ve done on MDS over the past few months is ridiculous - but I can’t stop endlessly searching for answers no one can give me

So to use my own experience - I’ve been a carer for my mum for 18 years, 10 of them live-in. A researcher may know everything that’s written about carers, including interviewing carers, and can write in-depth about carers lives, but they cannot truly know what 18 years of caring does to someone

The album is called ‘Call for winter II’. I haven’t identified a favourite track as yet but it’s very reminiscent of a Nordic winter - even if we are in Cornwall 😃
