Point 1: Obviously it is evil to massacre civilians for being Jewish.

Point 2: Obviously Israel's genocidal atrocities must continue to be opposed, and will continue to be opposed.

Today the worst people in the world are trying to pretend Point 1 and Point 2 are contradictory.

And why is no one coming to her aid? First, access these things for her. Second, sanction the sanctioners. For example, inform Uber that Prost has a lifetime free pass on Uber is getting out of canada.

Canadian judge Kimberly Prost is unable to use credit cards or access everyday services (Uber, Alexa, Ticketmaster...) in what she calls an attack on the independence of the judiciary." www.irishtimes.com/world/us/202...

They're using the confinement box, one of the most horrific methods of CIA torture in the post-9/11 black sites, against migrants now. This is the direct result of the lack of consequences for the architects of the torture program. Either there will be criminal penalties for this or it will expand.

Sure, there are people who can't read COVID studies because they are scientific despite accessible introductions and conclusions, but I've met so many doctors who can't seem to read them for emotional or financial reasons. They tend to be the same ones who tell me LC is a conversion disorder.

I hate to say it, but illness is more profitable than preventing it. Also, I wonder if the progressively weak public messaging around covid vaccination was nefarious, as well. It seemed to collapse just as anti-vaccs sentiment dominated public spaces.

About 4 out of every 1,000,000 people given the COVID Vaccine (Pfizer) had a life threatening reaction. More than 10,000 of every 1,000,000 unvaccinated COVID victims died all the way dead. Like, sure, we looked at both sides and we're good. We know which side is objectively correct.

The thing about being an US born person of immigrant extraction who has also lived in a couple of other countries and traveled to a bunch more is... I can be both very clear eyed in the way the US sucks while also being aware of how other countries use the USA's failings to distract from their own.

Most Americans still think in Cold War terms, blind to the real shift: global economies are democratizing. Power isn’t just military or political anymore—it’s who controls markets, tech, and capital flows. The world is reorganizing; US empire is still stuck in the past.

Someone posted in the Calgary subReddit about a “mystery illness” her family has been fighting for 6 weeks.

Last I checked, there were 200+ commenters identifying it as covid, & sharing stories of how they had Covid recently too.

In 6 years, I’ve never seen anything like it.
