If this tornado picture were 60 feet wide and 40 feet tall and you stood right in front of it, it still wouldn't take up as much of your vision as it did in real life. You can't sum up a supercell in a picture.

Historically, the El Reno tornado on May 31st, 2013.
My experience, the Greenfield Iowa tornado. This is the only radar shot I have of it! There was a debris ball over Greenfield a couple minutes after this shot.
