Seems to be a good year for oak #galls at Chobham Common: lots of knopper galls (Andricus quercuscalicis), silk button spangle galls (Neuroterus numismalis), common spangle galls (Neuroterus quercusbaccarum) and artichoke galls (Andricus foecundatrix)

This is probably a big reach, but does anyone reading this know how to get a hold of the Biomass energy plant for Austin Energy in Sacul, TX? My husband's work has a lot of mulch to get rid of & there doesn't seem to be an interface for the public, I assume they mostly are working with East TX mills

This is "Columbia Market" by Albert Turpin from his post-war work, most likely the mid to late 1950s. Sadly, this grand range of buildings was demolished in 1958 & the only remaining trace of their existence is a set of iron railings & gateposts at Columbia Market Nursery School. #AlbertTurpin

Her Keepers affectionately call her their ‘feisty girl’ — when her heart-shaped ears go full sail, we know she is about to up the ante and cause a little drama. You can see how much she enjoys creating a stir, a playful elephant is a happy, healthy elephant!
