Looove that the Avs won tonight! I didn't guess the first goal scorer for the Avs but I did win Bingo, so that makes it a darn good evening.

Bingo on my #avsbingo card! And the Avs are in the lead!

#AvsPsychic I'm predicting Marty Nečas for first goal of the evening for tonight's game. #GoAvsGo

I'm not at the Avs game but I did drag Greg on a quick walk through the park and up the hill to look at the aurora. Maybe tomorrow night we'll go drive and find a darker area.

Sometimes I wonder how I got to where I am today.
Certain recent events have absolutely puzzled my partner, including how I have recently gotten into hockey. (I really really don't enjoy sports, except bowling).
But hockey. Hockey is SO much fun to watch!

Hey guys I know it's really hard to be conscious of your health right now, so please remember that after every hour muttering “wtf” to yourself while scrolling on your phone you should stand up and banshee scream for at least 5 minutes to stretch out your lower back

That area is gorgeous but the white supremacy terrifies me.
I hope she sues and wins big from every single one of these scumbags involved from the city down to the security employees.

So much for free speech. Let's make this cartoon by @mluckovich.bsky.social go viral.

I'm married to @tealcartoons.bsky.social so I might be biased, but cartoons have long played a vital role in shaping political debate - both past and present. This type of censorship is deeply troubling.

As of this moment, Canadians are united as one in defiance of tyranny.

Americans? Most Americans have no idea that the idiot monster they elected because they forgot to vote has started a massive trade war that will upend their lives.

I am absolutely not OK with this, and I really hope that the majority of my fellow Americans aren't either.

Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers.

This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.

These photos don't do my nails justice. The base polish is a duochrome, so it's blue highlights and purple otherwise.

The stamping polish is Maniology's Pewter and the stamping plate is Whaline 18 (from an assortment from Amazon).

Last night was our open house at work and we had a festival of trees contest. I'm very happy with how my tree came out! I altered the original file including scaling it up, making it 3D, and creating a base.
Original file is the one with the ornament (from Creative Fabrica), with mine on the right.

The Christmas lights are up on the upper story so I figured it's time to have the lights on.
This is year 5 since I created the snowflake and it still makes me laugh with how bright it is.
I'll put up the little rows of illuminated trees in the front this weekend.

With Dr. Mehmet Oz pegged to head the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, it's a good time to remind people that he once said this 👇

As a medical historian, I can say that this is quite literally medieval.

Had way too much with this mani!
It's a duochrome gel with plaid stamp in gray and a fine grid stamp on top of that in gold. The plate is Maniology's Plaid, M267. (Please ignore the cuticles - I was pre-lotion in the close-up, and pre-cleanup in the one with the polishes.)

My sister gave me a camera over the summer and I'm really happy with the 75-250 lens--I'd cheaped out on a lens for a previous camera that ended up with a lot of distortion, so it's really nice to use this one. Tonight's super moon from my front porch.

A repeat thought, Bluesky, & a Librarian told you this so it must be true 🤣

Audiobooks definitely count as reading (as well as listening). If you've played through an audioook, its perfectly fine to describe that as "I have read [x]"

All other forms of assistive software count as reading too 💙📚

👍

I have a ridiculous number of hobbies, one of which is digital scrapbooking. Here's a layout I did last night using a template from Miss Fish that is full of fantastic layers and blending called Washed Back Templates, and the kit is Gingerscraps Cozy Things.

Medical historian here to remind you of the benefits of #vaccines!

This is the final stage of tetanus when nerves fire continuously & body contorts into agonizing posture known as opisthotonus. The mastication muscles clamp down to form the hallmark lockjaw.

A vaccine didn't appear until 1924.
