I'm not at the Avs game but I did drag Greg on a quick walk through the park and up the hill to look at the aurora. Maybe tomorrow night we'll go drive and find a darker area.

Last night was my second Colorado Avalanche game, and I wore the jersey that my amazing hockey-enabling friend gave me (colors are way off in this photo). Now I need to get some yarn and make a stranded hat to wear to games.

These photos don't do my nails justice. The base polish is a duochrome, so it's blue highlights and purple otherwise.

Last night was our open house at work and we had a festival of trees contest. I'm very happy with how my tree came out! I altered the original file including scaling it up, making it 3D, and creating a base.
Original file is the one with the ornament (from Creative Fabrica), with mine on the right.

Last night was our open house at work and we had a festival of trees contest. I'm very happy with how my tree came out! I altered the original file including scaling it up, making it 3D, and creating a base.

The Christmas lights are up on the upper story so I figured it's time to have the lights on.
This is year 5 since I created the snowflake and it still makes me laugh with how bright it is.
I'll put up the little rows of illuminated trees in the front this weekend.

My sister gave me a camera over the summer and I'm really happy with the 75-250 lens--I'd cheaped out on a lens for a previous camera that ended up with a lot of distortion, so it's really nice to use this one. Tonight's super moon from my front porch.

I have a ridiculous number of hobbies, one of which is digital scrapbooking. Here's a layout I did last night using a template from Miss Fish that is full of fantastic layers and blending called Washed Back Templates, and the kit is Gingerscraps Cozy Things.
