I can move on my own again! And can't say I'm not grateful for a forced rest day without the little one. Still scary to lose so much control of my body movement though
Hurt my back yesterday and it’s the worst it’s ever been. Can’t get up or even roll over in bed without support and it’s so weird to feel so helpless. Trying to see the positives as being able to spend all day in bed, read, and crack on with writing but… ouch!

The nitty-gritty: A delightfully unique fantasy tale, Greenteeth combines richly developed folkloric world-building with lovable, flawed characters. A delight from start to finish. “‘There is some hope then?' I asked. 'You remember what I said the first time we met, Jenny? There is always hope.'" I came very close to not requesting Greenteeth, and I’m so glad that didn’t happen.

Trying something new this December and not starting any new books until after the 25th to give myself time to finish up those longer ongoing reads and to hopefully review a few stragglers before year’s end, as well as reset my brain for writing… it’s hard to resist temptation but feels good too!
