There was a young man at my local target with tourettes syndrome, yelling gleefully as he helped put carts away as shoppers left; so loud at times I would startle. He seemed so happy. People enjoyed his zest. Honestly, he made my day. Disappointing, corp Target. Everyone has a role in society.

They're grieving families 😭
I spent most of my 22-years in the Army as an aviator in and out of line units flying OH-58's and UH-60's.We lost more aircrews in peacetime training accidents than combat. It's a very dangerous business. Having the President smear them as their families are freshly mourning is unforgivable.

NEW: 2024 has just been confirmed as the warmest year on record, and the first to breach the 1.5C threshold.
We used a ridgeline (Joy Division inspired) chart to visualise daily temperature anomalies since 1940.
2024 clearly stands out with 100% of its days above 1.3C and 75% above 1.5C.
