Great, thanks to @churchstreetimages.com for organizing the #blueskyartshow every Saturday.
Even if I can’t participate as much as I’d like, I’m following all the great posts each week.

@kat-astro-bot.bsky.social do you see Orion ?
Orion through winter maples. The first constellation my Grampa taught me as a little duffer. #BlueSkyArtShow theme is #OpenHouse all day Saturday. Post your best art for the show's one year anniversary. Link to the feed in comments.

A very beautiful image, a great classic captured with a lot of finesse. An easy target to frame, but very difficult to process.

Wow! A beautiful fireball captured on our zenith-facing AuroraCam in south Lincolnshire overnight. Green hue and a persistent ionisation train lasting well over a minute 🔭🧪

Continue experimenting with Schlieren Photography,
A DIY setup using reflections of a pinhole light in a parabolic mirror to visualize air turbulence. Light bends as it passes through rising heat, revealing invisible airflow from a candle.

VdB 14 and VdB 15 captured from my dark site in southern France end of September 🇫🇷 😊🔭

This was shot on the EdgeHD 8 with Hyperstar for a total integration time of about 5.5 hours using an OSC cam with just the UV/IR-Cut filter.

Long exposure turned the water into a symphony, each flying droplet sketching its own note. Captured while hiking in the south of France last summer #favoritethings

✨The Horsehead and Flame nebulae.
The difficulty of this capture was keeping Alnitak, one of the brightest stars in Orion’s belt, under control.

A rise of moon on an autumn sky. I came out ready for a full night of astro, but once again the weather won… and somehow still offered me this quiet moment. #warmth #blueskyartshow

Probably the last opportunity of the season to capture flower and insects. Here a European hornet on an ivy flower.
No risk of being attacked, the hornet is too busy building reserves for the winter.
