#FinalFantasy Legend II (aka SaGa II) was first out 34 years ago (1990) for Game Boy!🍖 This was a neat handheld RPG for some of us old-school fans. You partied with humans, mutants, and robots and the 8-bit OST kinda rocked! There was an NDS remake in 2009.

It has been 26 years since the release of Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX. This version was released to show off the Game Boy Color, colorizing the original Link's Awakening even adding a new color-themed dungeon to highlight it.

Sign of the times: I was at the local comic book store this weekend for the first time in months, and the 50-cent bin had finally been replaced by the dollar bin. RIP to a legend.

I went to the comic book store and they had 50 copies of the first issue of "Turok: Dinosaur Hunter" because some guy bought them years ago hoping they would increase in value (he was wrong lol)

I'm replaying the classic 2006 ROM hack Super Mario World: Return to Dinosaur Land by RAGB and realizing:

1) It's nearly 20 years old.

2) It's older than Super Mario World was when it was released.

3) It can now be considered retro itself.

Thirty years ago, #DonkeyKongCountry blew our minds with its computer-generated graphics — and kicked our butts with its challenging gameplay.

Now it can kick them all over again with three new hacks that increase the difficulty!
