I will only give a pass to people who only ever voted for him the one time in 2016 if they can offer a cogent explanation for why a blatantly lying, obvious racist—he had been riding that Birtherism train since 2009—was a better choice for them than Clinton (or just not voting).

It’s basically the 2020 plot, which was in one race, not many, and thwarted by Biden winning by multiple states.
