Mike Duncan is a terrific historian podcaster. Everyone should listen to his short series on the American Revolution (season 2 of “Revolutions.”) I know we all took American history somewhere along the line but I guarantee you will be amazed at the parallels to today. And it’s fascinating.

Dem leadership hedging on Mamdani is just stupid. You're pissing off excited voters otherwise skeptical of the Dems, and for no gains. He's the Dem nominee. The GOP will still attack him and Dems as "socialist" as they always do. Just say "He's the nominee. We're a big tent party." blah blah.
