Amazing how they are trying to say that because the DoD was the classifying authority, the fact that the SecDef posted the sensitive national security information in an unsecured chat means it wasn't classified. If such sloppy incompetent and undisciplined behavior is allowed why classify anything?
They’re not going to get out of this by playing semantics.
Sending detailed information about an upcoming military strike on unclassified channels (and even to the wrong guy) is wrong, reckless, and obviously a threat to American troops.

President Jimmy Carter has passed away at the age of 100. He was a symbol of what is best about America: kindness, compassion, duty and service. He will be missed, most of all by those who long for a return of that kind of country, led by a man with such strength of character.

The death of Jimmy Carter brought me back to a piece I wrote for @thenation.com in 2016. The bottom line is that Carter was the anti-Trump, an anti-racist when by birth and time he should have been virulently racist. Perhaps it is why he was so dispised by many.
