They won't - transphobia is NEVER about protecting children - it is about HARMING children, especially trans children.

I’m hoping that all of the transphobes who justify their unfounded views by claims of “protecting children” keep that same energy in the face of the release of today’s Epstein files.

the arrest of journalists in minneapolis, including don lemon, is more evidence that the only move the administration knows how to make is to use force, and does not know how to respond when that force is met with defiance and indifference.

The DOJ Civil Rights Division is full of Trump's most ideological allies. It suggests to me they're going to make some outrageous claim like Pretti was attempting to commit a hate crime against the agents.
JUST IN: DAG Todd Blanche suggested Alex Pretti shooting is under investigation by DOJ's Civil Rights Division, which indicates it is not being treated as an assault on federal officer but as a potential civil rights violation by the officers who shot Pretti.

The arrest of fellow journalist Don Lemon for exercising Freedom of Speech and Freedom of the Press is completely unaccetable. The ongoing targeting of our profession by this Administration pushes us further into authoritarianism. It’s unconstitutional and it has to end.

I wanted to thank everyone again for supporting my patreon. This was my my most financially successful month of my career with only my Xtra column for freelancing. I'll be able to pay all my bills and tank half my quarterly estimated tax payment without taking from savings.

Never done that before.

As I get ready to cover oral arguments at the Supreme Court over trans rights for the second time in almost a year here’s what stands out to me.

The debate over trans people in sports to be heard in the Hecox v Little and West Virginia vs BPJ cases is a solution in search of a problem.

I told @advocate.com that “this is perhaps going to be the most dangerous year for trans people so far.” Because desperation to make trans people an even bigger target will likely drive the Administration to extremes.
