I want to thank all of the brave first responders that answered the call to protect Los Angeles. However, if the incoming administration has been responding is what we can come to expect for future disasters, then my belief of an independent California is only made that much stronger.

The fires my city is facing are some of the worst I've ever seen. The toll is unimaginable, Angelenos are strong and resilient. However, they will never forget the disinformation campaign that MAGA has launched. MAGA is a terrorist organization. They peddle in fear and suffering.
