Caving Democrats Spit In America's Face, Swear It's Raining

MAGA will not work to lower costs...any costs for working Americans. The only thing they are interested in lowering is taxes for the morbidly wealthy.
Democrats squandered leverage for nothing

Liberal Elites Kicked the Door Wide Open for Trump’s Flagrant Corruption
The president’s corruption is audaciously out in the open, but decades of letting the wealthy play by their own rules enabled him.

When the going gets tough, the Dems always run away from the Affordable Care Act, their signature legislation of the past 20 years, and the glimmer of what Harry Truman hoped for 75 years ago. #shame @chrismurphyct.bsky.social @blumenthal.senate.gov

agreeing to make a terrible deal while your main opponent is quite literally being boo'd on live tv by an entire stadium of people is the kind of political instinct you'd normally only find in a 3 week old dead goldfish

My family has been without half our income for 40 days. It has been.. very hard.

We are willing to feel that pain so people can have health care next year, or to undo these illegal recissions.

We are not willing to have been put through this for NOTHING.

Sanders: Let’s be clear… If this vote succeeds, over 20 million Americans are going to see at least a doubling in their premiums… if resolution is passed tonight, we are on a path way to throw 15 million Americans off of medicaid and the affordable care act, 15 million.

If you don’t stand up for something @schumer.senate.gov @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social @chrismurphyct.bsky.social @blumenthal.senate.gov you’ll stand for anything.
The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.
