The Genoese dockworkers inserted themselves into the globe’s most contentious political issue, Palestine, using the best tool in any worker’s toolbox: stopping work. Call it a boycott, call it direct action, call it a strike. When workers stop working, bosses & governments take notice. My latest! ✊

Trump is intentionally choosing to starve 42,000,000 human beings! That they happen to be Americans shouldn’t matter but it does. Nearly every elected republican official in DC also is complicit in using hunger as a political weapon. This is America. This is also “Christian nationalism”.
BREAKING: Trump has just posted on Truth Social indicating he doesn't intend to release SNAP funds until the government reopens, which would defy both a court order and his own administration's comments yesterday.

in addition to these HUGE consequences we still suffer from, Cheney pushed for US to go to war in Iraq in 2003--BASED ON LIES--which was/is such a total disaster: in Iraqis & Americans killed, $1 trillion spent, sparked creation of ISIS, empowered Iran. It's stunning how horrible Cheney's war was
Dick Cheney did more than anyone else to build up expansive and destructive executive branch powers in the wake of 9/11; he lived to see another president turn those same powers against his own daughter.
He should be a warning sign to the GOP today but too many of them are in the cult.
