The answer to that question is yes and no. Yes, of course I've backslid in my career...that's what happens when you lose a job that you were so invested in for over a decade. But no, I haven't because what happens when the ground falls out from under you? You go home until you rebuild opportunity

2) But I keep getting asked two questions: 1: How am I doing all of this? Easy, because I have to. And, honestly, it's all the same 2-3 classes but sections all across these colleges. And 2: Do I feel like I've backslid in life having to return to all your old stomping grounds?

1) So, since losing my full time teaching job back in July, I've been putting together a pretty decent living. About 60-ish% of my old salary which is more than I could have hoped for, in the current educational climate. But yes, I have 6 jobs. Yes, I'm balancing them all well.
