Standing meditations in Ichuan have many "detours" or dead ends, distractions and in some cases dangerous practices. Fong Ha talked about 1000 hours basic practice of stillness, but not in those exact words. Some will just get lost in the woods in spite of good advice. #ichuan #standingmeditations

I have studied with five schools of Tai Chi. All were useful to me.
But I have my POV about many things.
Yoga, Pilates, Tai chi all are related but not interchangeable.
There are many different ideas about training all three. What is appropriate for each person varies and changes as we age.
But I have my POV about many things.
