One thing I wasn’t prepared for was how goddam whiny the fascists are. No flash, no strength, no grandeur—even their anger is overwhelmed by a palpable sense of pathetic indignation. Sheer whininess as culture and politics.

It took about 1 min for the 9 yr old to go from not digging Bad Bunny bc they couldn’t understand the lyrics to dancing around.
Bc it’s actually quite easy to understand that it’s good and even fun to celebrate things that are made by and for people who might be different from you.

One of the other things today: my wife needed to move her studio so we were setting some things up and laughing that instead of small works on paper they could be easily stored she does these massive paintings and sculptures we move around.

Okay, I liked it! My Arms, Your Hearse. Not a revelation like I had with Cult of Luna where it just clicked but also enjoyed it more than I ever have. Glad for all the Whoapeth love to get me to give them yet another go.
