I am lonely over here on pro caving: they made the shutdown about healthcare, the GOP just openly took and defended illegal steps to starve people, Epstein stuff is now set to come back to the front. Assuming GOP wouldn’t cave, shutdown into holidays likely becomes big loss for both sides.

Clearly not a popular take. But Dems succeeded in making healthcare THE issue, got the GOP to take and defend illegal steps to starve people, and things are now lined up to have Epstein at the front of attention. Dems have a much better story coming out of this than GOP I think.
