So many people have asked, happy to report that John Englart's ( @takvera.bsky.social ) beloved Juliet & Indiana Jones, chihuahuas for climate action, have found a loving home after his untimely death last week. #JohnEnglart #couchpeloton #merribek #climatejustice #ChihuahuasforClimateAction

Devastating news today discovering that @takvera.bsky.social has passed away. John was a loved Merri-bek community activist and will leave an enormous hole in our local community. I got to know him through @merri-bekbug.bsky.social and shared several rides with him and Juliet and Indiana Jones.

Parenting ‘on the move’? Active school commuting is linked to parents’ well-being and children’s academic performance
In recent years, growing attention has been given to the creation of ‘active environments’ across key aspects of everyday life. Two particularly relev…

The 14th Street Busway has been a smashing success: faster commutes, fewer crashes, calmer streets.

So why is Eric Adams blocking a similar plan for 34th Street?

Yesterday's @yarrabike.bsky.social Radio Show is online! In this episode we chatted about TAC, the no-fault transport insurance we have in Victoria, and when it does, or doesn't cover you, when you're on a bike. www.3cr.org.au/yarrabug/epi...
Why am I paying TAC insurance when it won't cover me on a bike?
Faith and Val are joined in the studio by Mathew Peckham and we all share our bike moments, including the 2025 Melburn Roobaix and installation of a long overdue prioirty crossing on the Inner Circle ...

The idea that bike lanes are in conflict with these things is just so stupid.

Workers and customers all get to the city by bike, deliveries already happen by bike (ubereats anybody?)

That is over 1300 submissions about the need for safer cycling to get in and out of the city and enjoy what Melbourne has to offer.
