#WealdandWen would be an on the rails ride, taking riders through atmospheric set pieces. Visitors should expect warm mists, bright colors in all the wrong places, deepest shadows and chittering things lashing out to muss hair and tug clothes.

Just wrote a scene where my space pirate MC hides in a spun up asteroid’s crater and needs to match its rotation and direction simultaneously; avoid debris; & account for centrifugal force. It made me want a theme park ride that’s a simultaneous roller coaster/Gravitron… Specter’s Wild Ride 🤢🏴☠️☄️

i think my current wip is a ferris wheel, specifically one where the ride stops for too long when you don’t have a clear view and the minute you get to the top and can see the whole park, it moves too quickly and you lose it
