Storm writer. Hair messer. Window gazer. Final girl.

Soft stillness. Twinkle lights. Venus in Tuberose. One long exhale. Book of spells. Handwritten heart.
The signs are always there if you’re paying attention.

After a doctor said "congrats, it's not cancer" to me today, he followed it up with "but I think every person gets blessed with one weird medical thing, and I guess dizziness is yours."

The absolute gold standard of medical waiting rooms. There may not be magazines anymore, but I WILL have fun!!

I have vivid memories of listening to “Rumours” when I was a much tinier version of me. For my 18th birthday my Dad gave me a vinyl copy of “Bella Donna”. I was using my uncle’s old turntable that had seen a LOT in the 80s. She’s been with me my whole damn life. 🌙✨

Me: buys house specifically near a lot of nature-y areas so I can look at trees and the sky.

The aurora: I will never show myself to you because you simply want it too badly.

What’s in my liver cleanse liquid? I’m glad you asked! Just some stems, some branches, fruit hairs and VENOM.

The final season of Stranger Things is going to feature an 80s radio station. I’m just telling you right now that I’m going to find this *extremely* delightful.

The Christmas people are out. I left my house and my personal space was invaded more than thrice. There was so much glitter. I shall not do this again.

Sometimes I’ll wake up on a day off, stretch, drink some coffee, look around, and I’ll feel a profound sense of gratitude for my life and the little things I love. A quiet house. A bunch of records. Soft blankets and slippers.

I forgot how much of “Fire Walk with Me” is just Laura Palmer screaming & Chris Isaak looking cool as hell.

Age may have brought me wisdom about a lot of things, but if left to my own devices on a long weekend I am still staying up until 3am. This is both beautiful and problematic.

When your pals send you an incredible box of belated Halloween goodies that included a Haunted Doll sticker book that you instantly are in love with:

Long weekend plans: watch Del Toro’s “Frankenstein” & the new Hell House LLC movie, let several strangers test drive my car that’s for sale, tempt the fates & furies, start Christmas shopping🎄🤮

Shout out to the MRI tech who just let me play Tori Amos for 45 minutes while I was stuck in the space tube.

I love watching people type what is seemingly a novel on the Teams chat at work, only to receive a “k thanks” in the end.

Sir. I thought I was about to receive War and Peace.

As a person in search of perpetual whimsy, I gave a friend a “grow a zombie” for Halloween. This former 1” beast is now the size of a phone. My work here is done.

Don't feel pressured to do weird stuff just because it came to you in a vision. Do it because it's weird. That's reason enough

If you need me I will be busy tracking the monarch butterfly migration in real time.

I love when friends deeply understand my aesthetic😌
In the mail?? If they really wanted your attention they'd tie a note to a crow's foot.

I don’t use instagram like a photo album or a dating app, so I’ve denied access to lots of people that I simply didn’t want reading my thoughts. It doesn’t mean I don’t like them. It means they don’t get my thoughts. Yet.

When I turn on my shower the water sounds like straight up death metal going through the pipes for the first 60 seconds. I’ve chosen to believe this is unique to the energy within my house.

A perfume that smells like the whir of a cassette tape before the audio starts, black coffee at 11 pm, a box of scrawled notes written in faded ink, a half-eaten doughnut, and the urge to look out the window into the darkness, just in case

One of the best things I ever did? Install this star light fixture right over my bed. It’s the little things. ✨
