I cannot stress enough how wild the local election was. We've gone from white supremacists trying to march down main street, to a total democratic mandate within ~10 years.
That shit is wild, and it gives me hope that even the ruby-red parts of this country will unfuck themselves eventually.

I also need to say how thankful I am for the people who volunteer to run and work at polling places. It’s remarkable. Hundreds of thousands of regular people all over the country dedicated to making sure your votes are counted, not some dark looming government force. Let’s keep it that way.
