I just heard someone talk about chess pieces as sentient characters. Then I remembered a Tetris fic I found on ff.net lifetimes ago. Now I'm lowkey horrified at the thought of fics about chess pieces. What if there's a 50k+ word slow-burn rook/bishop mlm omegaverse somewhere? And what if it's GOOD?

Black Doves is... an interesting watch though not in a good way. It's spy craft at home. Very amateur hour the way these characters do their craft. The world building intrigues me tho so I'll keep on watching. For now.

I'm currently watching A Haunting in Venice. This seems like it's going to be a good one tho I can't help but notice how Branagh's Poirot is simply not Poirot. At least not the proud, flamboyant little Belgian chatterbox that I know and love. It's like watching RDJ's Sherlock Holmes. Ugh.
