A "presence" account for anyone and everyone who is in exile from other social media, disaffected from other social media, mildly pissed off with friends from another social network of any kind, drinking coffee, tea, alcohol, or in love with the postman.
Sorry, this isn't mounted on what you were referring to, so I've no idea what you're responding to here. If it's urgent or crucial, be sure and let me know. Best, Vicki

Well, now for instance, we're at war. Check out somebody firing on all Ukraine, hitting Western oblasts, and PL's self-defensiveness.
Umm, no idea what are are talking about.
What happened?

Dear Dave, @davgar51.bsky.social, do you have a clue what's going on? Frankly, I'm lost in the aether right now in respect to what just happened.

"Haven't yet received your postcode I asked for. Uber driver getting impatient. Please send again. (There may be something wrong with my phone?) Godot."

Dear Dave, @davgar51.bsky.social, Just read a Vox article through @cmonstah.bsky.social on here that explains a lot of my interactions to me (I live in a large community where there are many Indians/Indian Americans). Here I was thinking RU's oil was sole problem, forgetting "The True Believer."

Never being held accountable, being rewarded for bottomless, self aggrandizing ambition and greed, in a structure that requires dominance, punishment, and exploitation as expressions of power is NOT A MENTAL ILLNESS.
Please don't assign mental illness to the tired historical inevitability of powerful white men pushing back with racism and misogyny when the "uppity" women and minorities fight for a bit more equality. This isn't a pandemic; this is predictable pattern.

it's embarrassing to have to explain to students that "heaven" has one syllable in a shakespeare or wordsworth poem. they really should not have gone down that road. makes the whole concept of poetry (and syllables) look bad. "heav'n" - come on man you have to be kidding me

From the panel of experts: “There is no conflict that should be excluded from the reach of the law; no child’s life valued less than another’s. The law we apply is humanity’s law, not the law of any given side. It must protect all the victims of this conflict; and all civilians in conflicts to come”

middle school trends these days are beyond parody. last year they all constantly played chess. this year the boys are all applying cologne to each other's necks and detecting hints of bergamot. and they all started saying "skibity toilet" two weeks ago.

yeah lots of old professions have obsolete feminine '-ster' forms that only survive as surnames: baker and baxter, weaver and webster, brewer and brewster. spinster is old enough it predates the degendering of the suffix, which i believe was motivated by the prevalence of the unrelated "mr"/"master"

seems complicated - i guess "-ster" was originally a female suffix (male would have just been "spinner"?) but then it started to be used for males so they had to invent "-stress"? whatever, english is a real mess

The myth of the abusive male genius needs to die. There are very few whose contributions to society are really worth being conflicted over in contrast to the abuse they unleashed. I promise you there was a woman or non-binary person or even a decent man around whose art was just as good

today's draft #sonnet. as so often lately, i probably sacrificed a bit of clarity in service of completely avoiding end-stops. once i started going all-in on enjambment it kind of became automatic and now it's an almost-daily thing #poetry
