Bill hates these drives.

He misses big city cults with all the accompanying comforts of civilization. The beauty of these mountains is lost entirely on him because his eyes are glued to the treacherous roads that will kill you if you stop respecting them for even a moment.

Word quickly spread around Martha’s Vineyard that he had a record of success for getting young people of means out of cults and for the last 7 years now he’s been making more money in some months doing this sort of cult retrieval than he made in entire years prior. Life is good. The irony about this kind of stuff is that if your goal is to tank Talarico you run the risk of improving his status to moderate older non-black voters who like a bit of casual racism.

We saw this with Fetterman's numbers going up after the story about him holding a black man up at gun point.
