Funghuary 2022 Re-post Thread🍄

I love monthly challenges like this. Feefal's Funghuary hit a specific niche interest of mine (drawing from nature/life with lots of references) so I had a lot of fun with these. I used a bunch of Clips brushes that mimic real media for these, esp. the pencil brush.
An illustration (digital with brushes that mimic the texture of real media) of curvy letters spelling Funghuary: a combination of Fungi and February, assuming you can't spell the former. It really feels like it needs an H... Each letter is colored, shaded, and given catch lights to mimic different types of mushrooms. In order they are: F (black), U (white & beige), N (bright green & glowing), G (black to white to pale pink gradient), H (glossy & red with bold catch lights), U (texture blue with white edges), A (various greens with bold catch lights), R (bold stripes & soft gradients in various whites, browns, and green), Y (shades of saturated blue progressing from dark to almost white; bold catch lights and soft glow). The year 2022 is at the end, because that's when these were originally drawn.

My Winx Club oc (or original character), Atlanta, pictured in her Enchantix transformation. She has deep brown skin with natural braids tied up in a high ponytail, set with a maroon tie and wearing a star-pointed golden crown. Her motif is teal and red with hints of gold, she is wearing a teal dress that descends into a fluffy back skirt with a red corset and red opera gloves. Her sandals are gold with tiny red gems and fastened in the shape of triangles. Her wings are two tiered, being mirror images of each other shaped as eyes.
