Meet Ammini, latest addition to my bedside army! All my other babies need a good bath and I am so sad that I didnt have that energy to spare for them in all these months. I miss being active here. Will try to peep in every couple of days until I can handle it without worsening symptoms :( #pwme

After more than a month in the mountains, I’m leaving today and pretending to be normal about it. I’m not. Currently manifesting an airline message saying my flight is cancelled again so I can dramatically stay back and emotionally bond with the hills a little longer.

Woke up to a perfect morning on my leaving day, emotionally prepared for bare, grey mountains. Flight gets cancelled, rescheduled to the 26th, and then it snows. Turns out the mountains just wanted me to stay a little longer before showing off. Simple joys.

Traveling and doing none of the things I usually do to pass time. Not reading, not photographing, not even trying. Just sitting, watching, zoning out. Maybe this is also a version of being present.

New Year, new meh.
It’s 11 PM in the mountains. The valley is calm, the night was quiet, and then someone in the corridor turns on loud Punjabi DJ music like silence personally offended them. I genuinely don’t understand why people come all the way here just to bring their city noise along.

🧶 Took five months to do the four rows!! When one row has close to 1k stitches, cant complain. 🤭 Now, I can start with the edge charts. This needs a lot of focus and hence makes me more sick after the knitting session. It is the kind of sick I am choosing once in a while for my happiness #knitsky
