And now there are 12 councils in Wales that have passed a motion supporting the devolution of the Crown Estate.

Just ten more to go!

If you live in a local authority that hasn't voted on the motion yet - please get in touch with your councillor and ask them where they stand.

Half the local authorities in Wales, collectively representing just under half the population, have called for devolution of the Crown Estate.

What is your opinion?
February 3, 2025 at 4:26 PM
Both @SwanseaCouncil and Neath Port Talbot Council have called for devolution of the estate.

This money generated in Wales should be retained and spent for the benefit of the people of Wales.

We hope that the remaining 14 local authorities will soon join the growing call for fairness.

😠 100,000 extra pensioners in poverty. Families forced to choose between heating and eating. Labour’s #WinterFuelPayment cuts are cruel and avoidable.

📢 Reverse the cuts!

The cost of securing coal tips has been estimated at £600 million. The UK Government committed just £25 million in the Budget.

This frightening landslip in Cwmtillery is a reminder of the urgency with which our governments should be treating this issue.

By cutting the Winter Fuel Payment, essential support has been taken away from 500,000 pensioners in Wales.

With energy bills rising, Labour are making vulnerable people choose between heating or eating this winter.

Plaid Cymru call on them to restore the Winter Fuel Payment.

Can we really accept Labour’s view that Wales is less of a nation than Scotland?

Rail infrastructure, the Crown Estate, policing - just some of the powers Scotland has but Wales lacks.

If you believe in fairness and ambition, join Plaid Cymru in building a stronger Wales.

The Chancellor’s error was not to increase taxes on wealthy landowners who use farmland to dodge taxes – most people wouldn’t have a problem with that.

Her mistake was failing to distinguish between these individuals and real, hardworking family farms.

👀 Big changes projected for the next Senedd on recent polling.

Plaid Cymru gaining seats from Labour across the south, whilst Reform are looking set to enter the Senedd with a dramatic sweep of at least 1 seat per constituency.

Greens & Lib Dems competitive in several constituencies each.
