An illustration teacher told us one day “an artist is only as good as his reference folder” and I still think about that. Delegating the ref-gathering & moodboarding to genAI, aside from all the ethical concerns, seems to me the single most cruel and devastating thing you can do to your design.

enemies in every biome belong to an Essence, three per biome. The Archives have demons, spectres and turned students foes. You collect keys from these essences and activate them to lower the Invasion level and prevent Calamities.
