A devastating 6.0 earthquake has struck eastern Afghanistan, killing at least 800 people and injuring thousands more.

In response, Deputy Emergency Relief Coordinator Joyce Msuya has allocated $5M from UNCERF to deliver urgent shelter, health, food and logistics support to the affected people.
