Official account of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs. We help humanitarians save the lives of people caught in crises.
In #Syria, UN and partners delivered 14 convoys of vital aid to 200,000 people in the north-east.

Despite funding shortfalls, we're reaching 3.8 million people each month.

Sustained support is critical as recovery efforts continue.

The Yemeni people deserve better.

This year, 22.3 million people – or half the population – will need humanitarian assistance.

Despite extreme challenges, humanitarians continue to deliver life-saving aid.

This is what we’re asking the Security Council to do.

This milk saves lives.

In DRCongo, children with severe acute malnutrition depend on it to survive.

With support from the DRC Humanitarian Fund, it’s now reaching a hospital in South Kivu – where over 500 children have already been treated. 🩵

Sudan is at the top of our plan to save 87m lives this year.

We must protect civilians and aid workers, secure access and fully fund the hyper-prioritised response plan.

The reopening of Gaza's Rafah crossing is an important milestone – for returnees, for medical evacuations, for lives.

This is a start, but it’s not enough.

More humanitarian supplies must enter in sufficient amounts and with fewer restrictions through Rafah and other crossings.

Sudan’s humanitarian crisis has lasted too long – 1,000+ days of famine, brutal atrocities, lives uprooted.

I’ve seen the suffering. Enough.

I'm in DC, working with US Senior Advisor Boulos, Quad and others as we commit together to reach 14+ million people with lifesaving help.

Horrific accounts from people fleeing across #Sudan.

Humanitarians can't stop the pattern of atrocities. We need the international community to step up and stop this war.
