If they suspend Habeas Corpus, it won't just be for "migrants" or "illegals" or "criminals." If they suspend Habeas Corpus it will be for you and me and whomever this regime decides is unfit, undesirable, and a threat or a problem. This is how it works. This is how it's always worked.

If Chief Justice Roberts gives a damn about American democracy and the credibility of the Supreme Court, he would be working frantically at this moment to get a 9-0 consensus slapping Trump down when the case of Trump ignoring court orders gets to him soon.

Just so I am keeping everything straight…the government can’t tell you to wear a mask because FREEDOM!!!!, but it can decide you are a “terrorist” and send you to a foreign gulag without due process and throw away the key.

That right?

Dear Decent Human Beings in the Military and Law Enforcement,

If you are ordered to violate the Constitution by this president, please disobey.

The millions who served, suffered, and died before you deserve your courage now.

You lost your 401k... and did Trump make money doing it?

He posted "THIS IS A GREAT TIME TO BUY!!!" just hours before pausing the tariffs. It's time for everyone to ask House Republicans why they aren't fighting for an investigation into this.

My grandparents were natural born German citizens. Until they weren't. I have copies of their documents, stamped "cancelled" by the government.
If you accept that non-citizens have no right to due process, you are accepting that citizens have no right to due process. All the government has to do is claim that you are not a citizen; without due process you have no chance to prove the contrary.

Just a reminder that Musk couldn’t get a top level security clearance. And he was under investigation for violating the terms of the clearance he did have. Now he has your Social Security number, your tax returns, and is unilaterally deciding who the government does and does not pay.
