Vaccines DO NOT cause autism - there is extensive research showing this. Resurrecting old, discredited, fraudulent work is shameful.

Vaccine-preventable illnesses are serious - this is going to cause real harms.

This is dangerous & disappointing.

Trump is transactional. He knows being nicer to Mamdani will help him with his business deals as a New Yorker. He also knows Mamdani is very popular. So, he puts on this charm offensive.

It isn't lost on many that he's warmer to Mamdani than Schumer, Jeffries, or the Democratic establishment.

I understand we've reached the part of the dictatorship where they are telling us that "if the president gives the order, it is legal".

Yeah, that's gone well in the past. We are so far past time to remove him.

This action, coupled with the President's call to hang Democratic members of Congress - both in the past few hrs - are more than "potentially divisive."

They are vile, unconscionable, and dangerous.

We need to tell our non-scientist people that the CDC is no longer a trusted source of information.

I follow mostly scientists here and we’re all right on top of what’s going on at federal agencies but I wouldn’t take it for granted that lay people have the same awareness.

To put a finer point on it: An "illegal order" is one that violates their oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States.

If you think that upholding the Constitution = sedition, well...you do the math.
Them: “You don’t have to obey illegal orders.”

Him: “That’s seditious! They should be hanged!”

Definitely not beating the giving-illegal-orders allegations.

Not that he cares about facts, but 92% of Medicaid recipients are working or fall within an exempt category, and thanks to the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Act (🤮), immigrants generally have to wait 5 years to enroll in Medicaid.

RFK Jr. is making shit up.
Secretary Kennedy, speaking to a bipartisan group of governors, has mixed up Medicare and Medicaid, and implied the people who will lose the latter are either unauthorized immigrants, dual eligible, or people who “don’t want to get a job.”

Not if the orders were illegal. Not if they were being directed to break the law. They are REQUIRED to disobey illegal orders.

And so many of Trump's orders are illegal. Soo many.
Leavitt: “If this were Republican members of Congress who were encouraging members of the military and members of our United States government to defy orders from the president and from the chain of command, this entire room would be up in arms.”

Trump is in the files because he was "best friends" with Epstein for years.

Is it a threat to free speech when the President of the United States threatens to yank the broadcast license of a channel whose reporters are asking him challenging questions?

I ask because I feel like there used to be tons of pundits worried about free speech. Where'd they go?
Trump in response to an Epstein question: "ABC, your company, your crappy company is one of the perpetrators. I think the license should be taken away from ABC because your news is so fake and so wrong. And we have a great commissioner, a chairman, who should take a look at that."

There is really something very, very wrong with this man. Mental illness, strokes, dementia...or just plain evil. This is not how normal people talk.

We really need a better way to remove a president who is clearly incompetent and insane.
Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."
