Me: That’s like regular dinner but with tongue.

Xenosaga but with expedition 33’s combat system
Hear me out: Just uprez XC2 and 3 and do an actual remaster/remake of Xenosaga instead of definitive editions

As a hunch, a lot of anime uses non-union, exploited workers. Eager and less experienced. You get what you pay for.

I like how for idk let's conservatively say over a decade we've been saying "these accelerationists want to kill the whole world and be kings of a graveyard" and everybody called us alarmist and now there's literal proof of it and everybody is still just coasting along like it's okay

Early days of Wikipedia had serious discussion if DRM article would be named "Digital Restrictions Management," because it entails you no rights in the technical sense.

(I've tried to find the discussion but haven't, trust me we had it)
I could probably talk at length about how DRM and AI are the same scam, presented as inevitable by the tech industry while being entirely unfit for purpose.

DRM made me very mad when I was a tech editor, but at least it wasn't a plagiarism lie machine that cause people to kill themselves.

It'd be nice to know, because I've was an old mst3k and riff fan, but I can't throw money at this without some reversal confirmation...

but yea, seeing a lot of folks very happy in the comments, replies, quotes, etc. Do they know something I don't? Or are they unaware (or don't care).

So, this is still the case, right? Because I'm seeing a *lot* of hype behind their kickstarter from people I wouldn't expect to be on board with this, including Bill's own recent postings....

Here’s a story I’ve been working on for a few weeks.

Over 50 Supernatural fans reached out to share how a VR fitness game changed their lives — and they had choice words about how Mark Zuckerberg and Meta killed the one thing that brought them together.

redoing all the combat, which is easy to tweak to be more difficult, seems fine. But cutting out a timeloop side quest (and others)? I just can't get on board with that!

This has been a mood for me for way too long.

it sounds like a patch would help a lot, in allowing gradient disabling of hints and markers. But removing whole islands is a pretty big sting, and rewriting it so a party member that is supposed to leave just sticks around seems weird.

A good review that gives you a solid idea if you'd want to play the 3ds version or this new one. Definitely feels like they trimmed too much out of this release... like it is the opposite of FF7 Rebirth.
While Dragon Quest VII Reimagined still encapsulates much of what makes Dragon Quest VII resonant, efforts to streamline the adventure succeed at the expense of player discovery. Our review: https://www.rpgsite.net/review/19437-dragon-quest-vii-reimagined-review

I ordered this awhile ago and the digital code was for the defunct funimation storefront which no longer exists. Not sure if that’s ever been updated.

If the game is designed around any kind of grind, I kinda need this now. If you have servers, I want them handling cross progression (and cross play).
