I've just finished reading The Box of Delights by Richard Marson. What an absolutely incredible book. An honest history of the peak of children's TV on the BBC. So many stories and interviews. I learnt so much.

We are sad to report that longtime BBC Children's TV producer-director Angela Beeching has died at the age of 84. Angela recently shared her memories for our book Box of Delights, and her work on Jackanory and other classic programmes entertained millions of young viewers across three decades.

RIP the incredible Nabil Shaban. An amazing actor, a gent & a star. It was a huge privilege to work with him on Sil and the Devil Seeds of Arodor in 2019. He was a lovely man, kind, generous & a complete professional. Condolences to his wife Marcela, his family, friends and colleagues. 💔😥
