If all you do as a programmer is copy-paste what the AI answers when you ask, the AI already replaced you. You just don't know it.

Just got this new MacBook from work and set up my user profile. I locked the screen and stepped away for about 10 minutes, and when I came back, my innie was like🤫

Read The Browser Company’s open letter last night. Finished migrating to Zen Browser today. Open source wins.✌️

Can’t escape the AI hype these days—especially on X and RedNote. Everyone’s acting like AI changed their life overnight...

But hey, that’s also their business model. “AI-first” sounds cool, but relying solely on AI output? Big no-no. 🙃

“AI can make creations”? That’s the biggest joke going around😅. Everything it generates—code, content, videos—it’s just mimicry. No authenticity. No soul. That’s not human creativity.

When did tech startups prefer black-and-white over everything else 😅?

One app like that is cool, but using a bunch at once? I keep opening the wrong one this week..😵‍💫

Took some time today to customize these icons — now they’re distinctive but also way more me. 😎

Went keyboard-only in Linear this week — surprisingly smooth 😌. Tried it in Jira too and wow, how was I not doing this already? 😅

One big lesson I’ve learned while working with Cursor (or any AI IDE): always write in TypeScript, not plain JavaScript. 🥶

@augmentcode.com just failed on my first try regarding how to deal with time-consuming tasks inside the Vercel serverless functions. 😅

Maybe they haven’t indexed the page in six months? The correct info is apparently out there.:

💯 agree on this!
Their loss. You've got so much to offer.

This is honestly a huge opportunity for whichever team you choose to support next.

For some reason, I kicked off my cursor journey recently. I took the time to read this post from the archives, and his review was quite insightful.

Tried setting up Zen Browser today, but uh… It’s just not for me 😅:
1. Can’t set keyboard shortcuts using just Option + a letter (e.g., Option + L).
2. No folder tabs. That was the last straw. 🫠

I haven't tried Ruby on Rails yet 😅, but I keep hearing developers rave about it. After reading this article, I have been convinced to give it a shot for my next side project!

Can LLMs write better code if you keep asking them to “write better code”?
Most coders want AI to write code faster: I want AI to write FASTER CODE.

I've been thinking about #Severance these days, so last week I created two new Focus modes on my iPhone: Work and Commute, and activated smart schedules so wallpapers could be updated with ease.

A big shoutout to @parkerortolani.com for his amazing artwork — my weekdays become more enjoyable! 😎
