100% not an alien
Driving last weekend, I saw a dead coyote by the side of the road.

A few miles later, I saw a roadrunner moving along the highway.

I initially thought the coyote was road kill, but now I suspect some fowl play.

A tag (like @tomayac.com describes on this article developer.chrome.com/blog/permiss...) would make more sense... but still not much. I am probably missing important background on this, but it seems like the scope of that element doesn't belong in HTML. It seems 100% JavaScript.
An origin trial for a new HTML <permission> element | Blog | Chrome for Developers
The Chrome team is experimenting with a new declarative HTML <permission> element for asking the user for access to powerful features.

Read this article by @matuzo.at about the element, and I must admit I am a bit confused about the new tag and its uses. To be completely honest, I don't fully understand the need for such an element in HTML, it may be because of it's current implementation

💡 CSS Tip!

Percentage heights are always a nightmare, but what if we can solve all of the problems with one line of code?

css-tip.com/percentage-h...

It may look strange and unreadable, but it will be a lifesaver and probably your new favorite CSS trick in the future!

I know their chances were slim, but now they are slimmer. It makes no sense.

Why did the Patriots go for the extra point instead of for a 2-point attempt? They are forced to get two more touchdowns now.

Pretty much all "successful" gen-AI use is gaming an existing economony by hitting a scale and speed that exploits its margins, but no one is watching/reading/playing/enjoying this stuff. It's just elbowing others out the way to catch the trickle-down out of the tech machine
I don't really want to bother, but these numbers? this is just a war of attrition. Each book made $500 in the KU trenches. She expended zero effort writing them, and readers DIDN'T READ THEM.

OH! Also, if you read these books and liked them (and this goes for any books you enjoy) leave reviews at bookseller sites, on sites like goodreads, tell friends! It's so hard to spread the word about stuff as a creator. I'm just a me.
There are more bots following me now, but may I recommend them my ORCS! series, available through Penguin Random House here: www.penguinrandomhouse.com/series/14460...

Browser level (site specific), some I have at 90% (CodePen) some I have at 110% (Wikipedia).

For people who think it's useless because we can simply define max/min-width are missing the point.

It's not only about that specific case, but also about any combination that involves other values as well.

border-shape can handle both insets and outsets, so you can do effects like this chevron nav (corner-shape can't do both).

This means you get a perfectly-wrapping focus ring without needing to manage z-index or having it partially covered due to overlap.
